When used in an outdoor environment, the GPS Receiver with its integrated patch antenna can provide standard raw NMEA0183 strings or specific data from up to 12 satellites via a standard serial interface.

The module provides current time, date, latitude, longitude, altitude, speed and travel direction/heading among other data, and can be used in a host of applications, including navigation, tracking systems, mapping, fleet management and robotics.

The sensor measures distance using sonar; an ultrasonic pulse is transmitted from the unit and distance-to-target is determined by measuring the time required for the echo return.

The sensor precisely measures light using an array of photodiodes, with an output of digital square waves. it has an input dynamic range of 160dB; that is, it can measure light over a range of 100,000,000-to-1 

The programmable light-to-frequency converter combines a configurable silicon photodiode and a current-to-frequency converter on single monolithic CMOS integrated circuits. The output can be either a pulse train or a square wave with frequency directly proportional to light intensity. The sensitivity of the device is selectable and the output frequency can be scaled by one of four preset values. An output enable (OE) is provided that places the output in the high-impedance state for multiple-unit sharing of a microcontroller input line.

Temperature and Humidity Sensor

It is a smart sensor for both humidity and temperature, and it comes in a tiny package that incorporates the analog to digital interface. All that the microcontroller has to do is read out the humidity and temperature values through the two-wire digital serial interface. The only math required is a simple scale and offset. It is factory calibrated so that it returns temperature with a resolution of 0.01 degrees Celsius and relative humidity with a resolution of 0.03 percent. The accuracy is better than most other sensors too.

Excellent for commercial or home-based projects that require such readings.

for monitoring uninterrupted production of ferrous rod, wire or strips, ring sensor is the right tool. The sensor is rs –101 manufactured by V-TECH detects the breakage continuity in line production. The sensors are large enough to accept pass through of line produced material like bar, wire or strip. Presence or absence of material will give a solid state output with led indicating the change.

the ring sensor rs-101 is suitable for operation on 6–30 v. Dc with logic no or nc output enough to drive a relay coil. Designs with suitable bores of 50mm and 17mm. Are available to suit various bar or wire diameters of ferrous and even non-ferrous materials. VT9 is a solar radiation sensor that can be applied for most common solar radiation observations. The scientific name of this instrument is pyranometer. VT9 pyranometer complies with the ISO 9060 second class specifications and the WMO guide. VT19 is a high accuracy hand-held read-out unit / datalogger. The portable VT9 - VT19 combination is well suited for mobile measurements and short term datalogging.

VT9 measures the solar radiation received by a plane surface from a 180^o field of view angle. This quantity, expressed in W/m² , is called “hemispherical” solar radiation. VT9 pyranometer can be employed outdoors under the sun, as well as indoors with lamp-based solar simulators. Its orientation depends on the application and may be horizontal, tilted (for plane of array radiation) or inverted (for reflected radiation).

VT19 is used to display the measured radiation and for datalogging. Once programmed with the sensitivity of VT9, the display will read the actual value of the solar radiation in W/m². Programming VT19 is done through its PC interface.

The system is delivered in a practical transport case, for easy transport and protection during field measurement campaigns. The case also includes the necessary software, AA-type batteries and a USB cable. Batteries allow for approximately 50 days of operation. VT19 may also be used with other pyranometers and heat flux sensors.

Operation

Operation of VT9-VT19 is easy. As VT19 has already been programmed at the factory, read-out of VT9 can be done by switching on the VT19. Logging options should be set by connecting the VT19 to a PC.
