INTRODUCTION

The thickness gauge is used to measure the thickness of the plated and coated sheet on metal, e.g paint /enamel/chrome on steel, paint and anodizing coating on
aluminum/copper. The gauge takes the precision integrated probe, and used principles of elector-magnetic induction and the eddy current effect, which automatically detects the attribute of substrates.

A digital pressure gauge is a precision instrument used to measure the pressure of gases or liquids within a system and display the measurement digitally. Unlike traditional analog pressure gauges, which use mechanical components (such as springs and dials), digital pressure gauges use electronic sensors and microprocessors to generate and process pressure readings.

It is important that a coating is applied to the correct thickness. Applying

too much wet coating cracking during process. Too little coating and there 

is a chance that the substrate will not be sufficiently covered.

Wet Film Thickness:

It is important that a coating is applied to the correct thickness. Applying too much wet coating cracking during process. Too little coating and there is a chance that the substrate will not be sufficiently covered.

How to use it:
1.Select appropriate comb according to appropriate known thickness.
2. Hold comb perpendicular to surface coating to be measured
3. Press into coating untill the comb stands square on substrate.
4. Wet film thickness is between the highest step which is coated and the next (higher) step which remains uncoated.
