This Digital Portable Surface Roughness Tester SRT-6200 measures 2 Parameters (Ra, Rz) by using built-in Diamond Pin Probe. It has 4 wave filtering methods (RC, PC-RC, GAUSS & D-P). Moreover, the measured data can be downloaded to PC through optional CD software with USB cable. It is compatible with four standards of ISO, DIN, ANSI and JIS and is widely used in production site to measure surface roughness of various machinery-processed parts, calculate corresponding parameters according to selected measuring conditions and clearly display all measurement parameters. When measuring the roughness of a surface, the sensor is placed on the surface and then uniformly slides along the surface by driving the mechanism inside the tester. The sensor gets the surface roughness by the sharp built-in probe. This roughness causes displacement of the probe which results in change of inductive amount of induction coils so as to generate analogue signal, which is in proportion to the surface roughness at output end of phase-sensitive rectifier. The exclusive DSP processes and calculates and then outputs the measurement results on LCD.

Main components of the tester

Screw Pump: It is used to generate pressure in the circuit of adequate capacity and is operated by a spoked handle which permits easy and accurate setting of pressure.

· Free Piston Assembly: It is made of special steel, hardened, tempered, ground and lapped to accurate

size and very fine surface finish provides true ???oating action.

· Set of Weights: Each weight is directly marked in convenient values of pressure and is easily stacked

on the weight carrier which is placed on to the free piston. The calibration can be provided in various

units of pressure measurement namely kgf/cm2, bar, lbf/in2, kPa, KN/m2 as per customer requirement.

Weights are available in two material options : MS Phosphated black SS 304. Storage box is provided for storing weights safely.

· Gauge Connector: of 1/2" BSP (female) union for connecting the gauge to be tested. Gauges with other connecting threads may be connected using adoptors provided.

· Base Plate: The instrument is mounted on a sturdy base plate provided with levelling screws. The entire circuit is covered by a sheet metal cover.

· Incremental Weights: to provide smaller steps (better least count) is available for all models at extra cost.

· Calibration / Traceability: Calibration is done against Master Dead Weight Pressure Gauge Tester and Master Dial Pressure Gauges using cross-Float method.

Working Principle

Snap Pull out Tester is used to determine the holding or breaking strength of prong-ring attached snap fasteners on the garments. The testing equipment comprises of an upper Snap-Clamp, a Lower Fabric Clamp & a Force Gauge mounted on a stand. The component to be tested is gripped by the Upper Snap Clamp and the garment is fixed to the Lower Fabric Clamp. The top flywheel is turned with a specific force. Product Description

Portable RAPID MOISTURE METER is most popular in determining the moisture contents of soil, sand , various types of pastes, powders and mixes etc in-situ, within a very short time. The instrument operates on the principle of a reagent being introduced to the free moisture in the sample to be tested. This forms a gas , the amount being dependent upon the amount of free moisture in contact with the reagent. By containing the resultant gas in a sealed chamber, it is possible to measure the created gas pressure.
